At the Edinburgh Fringe with acclaimed show The Future is Another Place, comedian Josie Long talked about the newfound political anger driving her, as well as some less serious matters.
@spottie999 well, she made the shortlist for the fosters comedy award this year for her routine at the festival. i don't know how similar her pre show was to the real deal, but i would imagine that she must have pleased the crowd somehow. I personally think that she's great
i saw her pre show.....have too say there was no comedy content whatsoever...just a weak teenage style rant. wanted to walk out but was too polite, regretted it afterwards.
saw the show, great show. poignant, angry, personal, much more so than some other comics I saw. there's so many people trying desperately to make some boring jokes and get as many laughs as they can. there are more important things.
So the rioters were Uni students angry at the fees increase, were they? FFS.
