At the Edinburgh Fringe with acclaimed show The Future is Another Place, comedian Josie Long talked about the newfound political anger driving her, as well as some less serious matters.

  • So the rioters were Uni students angry at the fees increase, were they? FFS.

  • @spottie999 well, she made the shortlist for the fosters comedy award this year for her routine at the festival. i don't know how similar her pre show was to the real deal, but i would imagine that she must have pleased the crowd somehow. I personally think that she's great

  • i saw her pre show.....have too say there was no comedy content whatsoever...just a weak teenage style rant. wanted to walk out but was too polite, regretted it afterwards.

  • josie long is freaking wonderful! i love how much she actually cares about stuff (and is hilarious too). AWESOME

  • saw the show, great show. poignant, angry, personal, much more so than some other comics I saw. there's so many people trying desperately to make some boring jokes and get as many laughs as they can. there are more important things.
