  • What i do, which doesnt fit for everyone, is get together with my brother and pick a topic to debate. Its grown organically with us over the years to do it just naturally. What's NICE about it is that not only do you hone your skills in communication and critical thinking, it's a great way to get rid of stress. we both walk away with no ill effects

It's a great thing all around, but not everyone has someone they can do that with, who can walk away not angry etc hehe

    Anyhow, great post Lisa :)

  • Before I start a major project I just have to clean my office and finish household chores I've been putting off ... so I get what you're saying.

OMG, you're like totally legit now, totally. Congrats on being partnered :)

  • Great Video as usual Lisa! <3 R77

  • Thanks for continuing the inspirations.

  • Hello,Lisa.

Sharpening the (your) saw,is a good idea. It may be a life skill. As our society, and our individual lives get more complex, and busy,we wear down our saws (selves) much quicker.

I see my personal sharpening as stepping back, and looking around at other tasks I have to commplete,to make the rest of my day/week easier to move through. For me,making a list, helps me re-prioritize my goals.

    See you Sunday.

Fun how we went from Shawshank to Saws...

  • Well, I could also sharpen some word chisels and carve out an ornate comment for you here, but I probably won't. haha! I'll just say that I like to schedule a breakfast with some friends every few weeks, it helps to keep a saw sharp.

  • Woohoo Partner!!!

  • That was an amazing video my sweet friend. You brought so much to my mind tonight. I love your videos. I hope you have a great weekend and I am sending you Big hugs and tons of kisses to sharpen your saw and bring you a smile. I need to sharpen my saw. God bless you and your family.

  • Oh, and today, as we were filming for my Red snow [part 2], we started talking about doing a documentary on roles you take on as an immigrant in Sweden. We might possibly go to Iran if it works out. How strange life turns out.

Congrats on making partner, but mostly for doing such a fine daily job, all of you!!!!

Good luck on your filming Lisa, cheers

  • You rock, Lisa

I've personally been holding up doing a few essays for a few months, and next week they are due. I am very good at writing under pressure, but still, I would have loved to have had it done, and I feel pretty good whenever I work on it. I guess there are too many distractions out there, organize, organize!!!
