More than half a century old MGM's classical movie, depicting how the love of a Roman soldier with a Christian lady solved the then major social problems between unruly Romans and early Christians.However, the arena challenge fight in which an aggressive bull was killed by the Bodyguard of the christian lady,goes in favour of her lover who restores Rome from Nero. A splendid production that outweighs the oversight of not keeping similarity in the horn colours of the two bulls used in the fight !

@poacher36 Buddy Baer, a boxer himself, was the 6'6" brother of heavyweight boxing champ Max Baer. The movie Cinderalla Man portrays the life of Jim Braddock, and his championship fight against Max Baer. And, of course, Max Baer is the father of TV's Jethro Bodine of the Beverly Hillbillies. Max Baer Jr claimed the movie did not portray his father accurately.

bEST WISHES. I SAW THIS MOVIE IN 1953 WHEN I WAS 7 YEARS OLD. I STILL REMEBER THIS BULL FIGHT. BUT SINCE THEN I HAVE A DOUBT. IS THIS BULL REALLY DEAD AS IT'S FEATURE GIVE THAT IMPRESSION. I CHECKED IMDb. BUT NO CLEAR INFORMATION. DO YOU KNOW ANY THING ABOUT IT. IF SO PLEASE INFORM.
