From the YESSONGS album and video. My favorite version of Starship Trooper. Only the end was included in the concert video. I created a whole video using other footage from the show and the real ending. It will have to do unless the original film surfaces.

  • every version of this song makes my nipples hard.

  • Yes,Genesis, and Pink Floyd are my favorite all time bands. Yes had the most musicianship hands down.Genesis was the most melodic and fantastic songwriters. Pink Floyd being the most psychedelic and most popular. This song is quite psychedic for Yes. Nevertheless a spectacular song.Although Pink Floyd and finally Genesis are in the rrhof, it is a crime that Yes has not been inducted although the rrhof is a joke with some of the bands inducted.Long live Yes.

  • The ending always makes me feel like I've ben abducted by aliens and then when the synth solo starts it's like they gave me alien psychedelics and you just see everything.

  • @hellmutt1969 where do i hear that one?

  • @TrajanGregory sure wish the guy that uploaded this would've put that in the description;)

  • Bravo!!!

  • Love this song, but this video is not actually Yes playing Starship Trooper live - It is a selection of video clips edited to look like it is, but most all the interspersed clips do not match the music as it is playing. There might be a couple of actual 'real' clips, but not many. But hey, it is still kinda cool .... it LOOKS like they are playing this live.

  • @socalchispa Oh yeah, girls love this kind of music! Ok, sarcasm off now :)

  • I think I like the Toney Kaye version of this song more than Rick Wakeman's version. Not trying to dis Wakeman, but there was more to Kaye's keyboard solo in the WURM than Wakeman's. Just my opinion, please no hatemail! lol.

  • RRHOF is a flippin joke! who are they listening to? no Yes, no Rush, no Moody Blues! guess this music is a lttle to complicated for their simple minds!

  • @teslabard You just blew my lunch away with that visual. THANKS A LOT!!
