@451harri No worries, man. All I meant was to say they're from Scotland, not Britain. Wasn't using the terms "Scots" and "Brits" to stir the pot.

I'm just half-and-half and I've spent far too much time around scots and brits talking bollocks about each other and themselves for years. I have a conditioned aversion to that nationalistic shit, I guess I'm paranoid because I keep seeing it even when it's not there.

@451harri Wasn't promoting Scots over Brits, was just making a distinction. I don't think it's "pretending" if you consider them different. I realize that Britain and Scotland are both a part of the UK, now. Scotland was sovereign at one time, though. How about we accept that they're different, and not even open the door on a conversation about which is better or worse?
