@whiteti123 Cut 7 inch by 4 inch. Finished brick is 6 inch by 3 inch. (1/2 inch seams).

I wish they would number these from the beginning. she mentions how many "bricks" it takes but I been searching all their videos and can not find the one that tells how to do that.

as far as a needle goes they have specific needles for denim and also for quilting.

@mispochos hi! not sure if they are set up to reply I was just looking on search for this very thing.. they recommend grey (I would use light) thread and you will need needles that are for denim for your machine. as far as amount it really depends on how big you want it. so i am not sure. I have a big tote of old jeans I am hoping they will be enough for a lap quilt. have fun! :)
