Post Office - Killed by Internet, Social Security - We've known it was going to go broke since Carter and through 1 Democrat and Three Republican presidents we've yet to hear a solution, Amtrak - Record number of riders due to hike and gasoline prices resulting in adjusted and profitable budget, so you have no clue what you're talking about there, Fannie Mae are private companies you fucking dipshit.

Medicare fraud is rampant, because our Congressman allows crooks to fatten their pockets! Vern is right there with them, what has he done to stop Medicare fraud before President Obama was elected?

Are all these Congressman in space somewhere or have they been doing Hard time! Why is it that someone else always tells Congress whats wrong, then guys like Vern Stand up and repeat it!

I'm surprised you didn't include the Armed forces and our space program. If Congress would do the right thing these programs would work! It's e-mail that is putting the Post office out of business not government. Of course you never heard of our Congressman giving themselves raises, cost of living, pension and oh yes, government Heath Care! Congress allows companies to charge outrageous prices when selling to the government. Its Congress! Vote em out, get someone new!

We could afford health care if Congressman were on Social Security, didn't give themselves raises and didn't get a pension after only 4yrs.

This is the only time a President has started the ball rolling for health care for all of us. It appears the Insurance companies have Congress in their pocket, Congress keeps stalling! This Buffet must be getting some big buck to turn on the President!

I am lucky to have VA care, a government run health care system. I can tell you It is the best health care I have ever experienced and I use to have one of those "golden" private coverages when I was younger.

Well that is the bad side of medicare. But the good side, which far outweighs the bad side is that it does take care of people 65+. What would so many people 65+ do without it? Private insurers are not about to insure 65+. Heck they won't insure 50+.

I'm amazed anyone thinks the govt. can run a healthcare system. Here's some history. They run the post office,it's broke. They run social security,it's broke. They run Amtrak,it's broke. They run Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae,they're broke. They run Medicare/Medicaid,those programs are not only broke, they've been defrauded for years and the govt. can't even stop that! They run the budget and it's 1.6 TRILLION in the RED. The one thing govt. "runs" well is "running" through our tax dollars!
