@ss19800 wood is lame. Aluminum is better and for the price of the vehicel, 29k starting price for the year, that was fairly cheaper than comparable cars like a 3 series and it was faster.

@Irish 85% of the material in the dash is soft touch and the stuff like the glove box and vents are plastic and you got aluminum trim everywhere. The doors are pretty well done with a combination of everything and the plastic parts are more towards the bottom of the door. Overall, the quality is really good and my only complaint is the movable cluster that rattles sometimes over really harsh roads. It's a solid car, highly recommend it. Though if you're getting a coupe, 03-04 were more reliable.
