Please join Chairman of Canada Court Watch, Archbishop Dorian Baxter as he leads a rally at Family and Children Services of The Waterloo Region at 168 Hespeler Rd in Cambridge.

This is in support of Bill 93, which would implement oversight by the Ombudsman of Ontario and hold CAS accountable.

Thanks for your reply, is not Bill 93 the old Bill8 which gives more power to Children's Aid Society? Some one told me that. Sorry we are new to this CAS thing. Keep up the good fight and we will support you all the way. We have seen a lot of incidents at our works, We know CAS are anti-Christ wolves God bless +)

As far as I am aware, Bill 93 is the old Bill 88, which is a bill which would give Ombudsman the power to investigate CAS.

bill for Ombudsman oversight was 1st introduced by Andrea Horwath in 2006 as Bill 88, the McGuinty government prorogued in late '07 and all bills needed to be introduced. in '08 Andrea reintroduced her bill and it was named Bill 93. Again McGuinty prorogued - we are just waiting for Andrea to reintroduce it. It could be 93 or another # but the should be have the same requirements for oversight. Only MPP's can vote on bills so pressure them with rallies and petitions.
