  • Glad to know our boot was able to help!

  • Thanks for your question. Yes, the product could be used to help heal a metatarsal fracture indeed. Will the doc give one? That's a question that depends on many factors such as your insurance coverage, and other costs associated with seeing the doctor. Many patients purchase directly from DME-Direct and send their invoice to their insurance company for reimbursement according to their durable medical equipment coverage. In many instances it's faster and more economical to purchase online.

  • my doctor gave me the option of this boot or a cast didn't hestitate to take the boot

  • just got mine today love so far I have a broken ankle but still have to use crouches not allowed to put weight on it yet doc's order but love being able to take it off to let my leg breath

  • how do you get one then i broke my metatasl or something will i get one of them? if yes does the doc give?

  • do you have to pay for the air cast and how do you ask for one off your doc?

  • I have one now for a hairline fracture to my foot and I think I would prefer a plaster cast. This aircast is very heavy and bulky and very hard for me to walk in as I am unbalanced with it and need crutches as well. Really wishing the Dr put me in a plaster cast instead.

  • Have mine on now for fracture and sprain better than plaster cast also on Crutches . Happy Days .

  • i had one of those and F.Y.I. your vocie puts me to sleep

  • I have one of these from a ligament tearing off of the bone, and also an internal fraction and this helps, it's slightly heavy but you get used to it, and I recommend wearing a sock underneath it
