  • you should all study russian history and see how much you don't want capitalism then

  • It annoyed me that the woman stood there talking about her comfortable life and such, and talked about how the movement is fantastic and how hopefully there will be change. It's a domino effect, it has to start somewhere. Maybe don't have an iPhone and go buy those children some school clothes. Be the freakin change you want to see in the world, lady!

  • @sophiebasil It would have been quite hard. Most people on camp were quite sick of the media by the third day.

One media group came to our came around 5am, tore down a series of posters, pulled some rubbish from bins, tossed it into the nearby water feature, and began filming it in an attempt to make us look bad.

We're currently in the process of gathering the CCTV footage of this happening.

  • There is ONE and ONLY ONE object that matters in life – OUTCOMES, or the end objective whether we sleep, eat, work, or make love - to satisfy an end objective.

NOT INPUT, and NOT PROCESS- BUT OUTCOMES- if your protest has meaningful objective, then by all means I support your goals. However, if you protest just because you seek to preoccupy yourself; then you and I, characterize life very differently indeed.

  • @sophiebasil Race is irrelevant. it makes me sad this is all you have to say after watching this.

  • for the first 6 mins of this video you only interviewed white men, in the entire video you only spoke to white people.

  • thanks for this - it's great to see that melbourne has its own occupy movement. although i'm not sure its big enough yet to accommodate kaositics' rather broad-ranging exclusions (or that any movement ever is). socialists and people with socialist ideas are involved in all of the occupy movements worldwide.

  • Apart from the socialists
