@ADRASTOSindeimos the standard poodle is the larger of the breed and there is in fact a maximum height. In the FCI standard the max is 62cm.

@mikebordon No actually they have been tested and have a greater ability to learn things than other dogs. Its like a bowl. It can be filled with inteliligence. some dogs' bowls are bigger than others. A bordercolly may be dumber than a specific poodle, but bordercollies have a greater potential learning capabilities. I've got a poodle myself. His name is Chewie because he looks like Chewbacca. :D

@squitchleton123 I told my two poodles what you just wrote, they're on their backs rolling on the floor laughing hysterically. In all seriousness, which breed is smarter. is a matter of opinion. When I hear a Border Collie (correct spelling) owner tell me that, I just smile and tell them what a beautiful dog they have.

@calypa86 The breed standard doesnt specify a maximum height. only minimum. They can be bred as large as you want them.

Well I think there is the term"Giant" poodle but I'd just go for standard, minature and toy. I have a white standard and a black toy puppy lol. Pretty cute yours, poodles do have a high opinion of themselves lol
