The prolonged attack
Some times, when we have double or triple "acciaccature", it might be best to modify the gesture so as to make it easier for the orchestra to play them ; this gesture is prolonged and as if it were slightly extended forward (Clip 137, Clip 138 Mozart from the 1st movement of Symphony n. 41 "Jupiter", Clip 139 Mozart from the 1st movement of Symphony n.38 "Prague".)
