  • does solder allow electricity through it, or does it only hold the other metal parts together? I know its tin and lead which dont allow electricity I believe

  • solder wire when melted on connectors will pass electricity with no drops.

its a good conductor of electricity and heat.

  • How many Leds do you connect in serie?

  • 3 Blue L.E.D. in series then one resistor of 220 or 330 ohm 1/4 watts, then its ready for 12v car battery.

  • @dereileak It contains copper as well as tin and lead, which is a known conductor, so the answer is yes - it does pass electricity to components that are connected.

  • how do you connect the legs: say if you want 8 led's in series , ok say each led correspond to A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H , DO you conect -leg of led A to + leg of B ,-of B to +C , - of C to +D...etc then put a resistor to - of H then you connect -lead from the power supply to the resistor and + lead from the power supply to + leg of A ? PLEASE ADVICE ,

  • Totally lost me... They could't have all been in series... Where are the resistors? I think I'll go kick my dog.

  • Great, thanks man...

  • what was that stuff?
