The film -- made over the course of three years and two continents -- scrutinizes the scientific research surrounding the diagnosis of Munchausen's and, in doing so, questions the very diagnosis itself. The filmmakers document the struggles of three average families battling the charge of Munchausen's with various, tragic results.

I agree, and until we fully understand what MBP is, we cannot hold any firm conclusions as to what MBP really is.

yeah, a DNA will prove it, but until your claims are evidential ones, it's better not to state them, unless your intention was to help create a discussion about it. I'm not saying your wrong, just saying that proof is needed on your part.

And about the David Southall thing, I haven't heard of it until now so i'll have to look up on that first before i comment on it, unless you want to fill me in =)

It's an "invented" illness, by a doctor, that was struck off as a doctor for "inventing" MSBP.

When challenged by barristers to produce his evidence and research, he said "he'd destroyed it".
