Morgan trail mare for sale in Oregon- July 2009-#1SOLD

This bay 4 year old mare, Dawnwind's Desert Gem, was raised by us and is a sensible, trusting mare. We raise old-fashioned sound and sensible Morgans and usually have some for sale. In this set of videos, Gem is on her second trail ride ever, after about 7 saddlings and being ridden in a round corral. The trail consists of this creek crossing and several bridges, glens, meadows, pea fowl, turkeys, deer, and flats and hills. She did as well as the old-broke mare she was with. As a matter-of-fact, the other mare's cinch off-strap broke and she hardly noticed. It was fixed and off they went. The 2 mares are related by their Red Correll bloodlines; very steady and sensible!
