@MrConservative608: "The postmodernism in it was very weird in my opinion." Right you are. What's strange about it is the film can't sustain itself on postmodernism. By the end of the movie, it contradicts postmodernism in order to give us an essentially "happy" ending. The postmodernism isn't upheld to the end. The story starts to break down in worldview a little over half way into the film.

I didn't like it much and I always thought there was something off in the movie which you nailed completely. The postmodernism in it was very weird in my opinion.
