I found some good teaching material.
Google "Ferd'nand". These are comics without words. First I have the students describe what's happening and practice structures such as the subjunctive. Then I have them role play the situation. The result has been very good.

I never had this much trouble learning to speak another language, if you ever spoke english like that to me I'd just ignore you.

@Alexterishi : Well congratulations.... then you are language-gifted. Anyway... there are many people who are not and yet they do their best to learn a foreign language, they try hard and they'll all succeed provided they don't give up and provided they are not put off by the perfect ones who ignore them.
