i remember going to an internet cafe with my dad, cause he didn't have internet at the time. Every time we went, I'd always see people at a row of computers, playing counter-strike.

@FredIsMyName22 Good point, although what really set modern shooters was golden eye. That started shooter multiplayer and headshot does more damage then body shot and so on. Halflife kinda took other rlements and improved on it. I do agree though hl had a huge impact on video games.

@OpTioNalDicTioNaRy The best multiplayer shooter, definitely... Counter-Strike isn't as "original", I find, but still belongs in the top 10 lists. I think Half-LIfe 2 really set the standard for modern FPS, though.

@FredIsMyName22 you game with something that is not on youre pc, its online, so actually every multiplayer game has that... nearly no one knows :p but everyone uses it xD
