Definitely one of the most original acts on the current French music scene! Nosfell is a young singer who has invented his own language, Klokobetz, and his own bizarre imaginary world, Klokochazia. His real character remains shrouded in mystery.

Labyala Fela Da Jawid Fel, better known as Nosfell, was born in the Paris suburbs on 1 December 1977. He grew up in a family with Berber and Italian-Spanish origins. Labyala was a troubled child and fairly early on in life he discovered the joys of escapism, inventing his own imaginary world, Klokochazia. His fantasy archipelago of islands was run not by men, but by his own wildest imaginings. And from the age of 14 he began sharing aspects of this world via songs written in a made-up idiom, Klokobetz. Mixing Klokobetz (which has often been compared to Kobaïen, a language invented by the French fusion group Magma in the '70s) with smatterings of English, Nosfell performed in public for the first time at the end of 1999.

  • Allez le Nosfell

  • and broody evolves.....hum-in-a-hum-in-a-hum-in-a BONER!

  • where do we download this music

  • @iamspikeyoko No, it's a Maton but not a Josh Homme signature

  • @StareLikeAHoodlum ermm, yes. yes she is.

  • @iamspikeyoko No she's not.

  • any one else notcied that in that pick of brody she is using a Josh Homme signature maton? :L

  • @soNervig btw, it just sounds homme inspired because he is playing guitar :L i know what you mean though when he plays the solo all i can think is 'josh', but if you listen to the acoustic version without homme or brody it sounds totally different and after all he did write this wthout josh and brody. :) (and this comes from a huge josh/Qotsa/tcv/kuyss fan :P) :)

  • This guy is incredible. Once again my Brody Dalle obsession pays off!

  • Viva La Brody!

~I'm living the blackest years of my life~

  • this is just fucking awesome

  • @redscarf Theres always a universal truth, despite what anyone wants to believe. If I got shot, I got shot. If I stand up, I stood up. If theres a sun, theres a sun. Its not a glowing holy cow of doomedness. Lol sorry.

  • Life is just a perception of your own reality. am I alone? Is there anyoen out there? Please send me some love, need it right now. Need it always. Where are you?

  • @Bethson sry, i sure respect your opinion, dont know why i even replied in the first place. I could say the same things about me, i grew up with music. Maybe im just older, you're gonna change your opinion a lot of times, you're gonna see. But i think we agree, that Josh Homme is the most outstanding rock--musician since the late 90s. Unfortunately he seems to have been almost "unrivalled".

  • @LowPunkDesert Damn right!

  • This is fuckin brilliant!

  • @soNervig Well...I have heard A LOT of music. Please, don't judge me only looking at my age. I'm very confident when it comes to my own taste in music and I work with music all the time + listening to all kinds of music all day long. Music is my religion and I've been to hundreds of concerts since the age of 13.

This is the most awesome and genious song I've heard in years. That's only my opinion.

  • @Bethson "most awesome song (of) the last years"....thats not a big deal, isnt it?

It sounds a lot Homme-influenced, actually nothing special or new compared to desert sessions stuff. Its ok, but nothing more to me.....the older you get, the harder it becomes to be impressed.

I thinks theres been better stuff even in recent years and we're used to much more amazing from the frenchies, arent we?

At least he tries to find a new sound though

  • How can someone NOT like this song? Probably one of the most awesome songs I've heard the last years.

  • brody sounds sooo good there...

  • good ingredients (homme n dalle)

  • this is great! josh and brody fucking hells yeah!

  • Woww...c'est vraiment excellent!!!
