Joe Askins of YoChicago.com takes a spin through Margate Park, a part of Chicago's Uptown bounded by Lawrence and Foster avenues, Sheridan Road, and Lake Shore Drive.
In this first segment, Joe starts off near Wilson Yard, the new mixed-use development at the corner of Montrose Avenue and Broadway, then turns north toward Margate Park, passing Weiss Hospital and the sites of several proposed condo developments along Clarendon Avenue.
You brought back some of the old memories. I left the north side in 75 and never went back since . It sure looks differant weiss hospital wasn't that bad then , many of the Jewish families lived on marine and shiredan all the way down to devon I guiess they moved away. Thank you for the sight scene , truly I enjoyed it .but I am glad living in Amman Jordan away from the slush and the snow . Thank you again

Wow, Weiss Hospital is consider the worst hospital by the cosumers, good to know. I recognized every street you drove by. Brings back so much beautiful memories. My mom used to take me and my brother to Mcdonalds on Foster & Sheridan every weekend when we was very little. Fantastic videos, you got my vote.
