how is this tv for gaming?

EX700 is Edge LED and HX700 is CCFL. Personally I prefer the HX700, because it has a much better quality. The Ex700 is "Essencial" and the HX700 is "Cinematic", and you have 240Hz wich is much better! And about the clouding, it doesnt happen on CCFL.

We just bought the 46hx700 for 1599 euros... it will be delivered in about 2 weeks..

In person this thing is absolutely beautiful. I'm still trying to decide between this model or the EX700 model.
It's basically a choice between 120Hz with LED, or 240Hz with CCFL
Tough choice. Same price. : /
