Megaman Anniversary collection is cool but there are some emulation flaws.
MM 1-7 all share one common problem: The Sound effects overlap and makes it sound weird.
Megaman 1 has high pitched sounds.
Megaman 7 has the ending sequence cut out. The mode 7 graphics were apparently "too tough for capcom to emulate." Seriously? On an Xbox/PS2/GCN?
Mega Man 1 and 2 have some tracks that should have been remixed.
Megaman 8 has slowdown in some spots.
The Gamecube Version has NO remixed tracks.

I'd love to do music like this, Capcom CPS2-stuff and Castlevania-style... It's incredibly difficult to find synths and samplepacks that contain such awesome sounds, like those jazzy brass-sounds etc... I've gotten near to the style of these j-pop tracks, but it's always missing *that* feel or sound that's present in all these magnificient japanese pop/jazz/rock -tracks.

Sounds like SNES

Yeah, I kinda wish they made Complete Works-style remixes for 1-3, instead of using the arcade remixes.

Ah, but it is Atomic Planet that had troubles with the Mode 7 effects, kchrules25k (Though it's still a lame excuse to leave out MM7's awesomeness...)
And the remixed tracks were all taken from Rockman Complete Works, which was released 5 years prior to the Anniversary Collection.
Still, I agree, CAPCOM should've done better for this game.

think about it, it even though the graphics arn't that great, and the system is much much better, there are alot if different games on it that take up room. that is the reason why mm7 was too tough for capcom to emulate.
I really enjoyed all the games in the Megaman series, I have a few favorite stages throughout the series. Cutman being my number one for this game. Thanks for uploading this.
