  • ah now in know what a SuperflexTrailer is:-)

  • @YeagerP51 Bridge sign clealry says 13"7". He has standard height 13"6' trailer, his Volvo has low cab. It doesn't matter that he was off truck route. Sometimes you have to make delivery @ places that are located off truck routes. Although, I must say, that if he has 30 years of experience he would know that bridge was tooooo low to pass under.

  • some lubricant might help

  • my truck is 13'6"

  • YOUR FUCKING FIERD!!!

  • I just saw another picture and it was clearly 13' 7." Still, if he couldn't get under it, he shouldn't have been anywhere near it. Driver was sited for being off the truck route. The bridge is called the Division bridge.

Per article: People in ... are used to seeing the occasional stuck truck downtown, ... Penrod said on March 4, 2010 at 2:02 PM. 13'-7" arched bridge and a 14' high trailer.

  • The sign looks like it says 13 ft to me. DOT is not dumb enough to post the wrong clearance. Trust me. There's too much liability and they would have to admit that they made a mistake. That's not going to happen.

  • @108peterbilt WHAT DOES OFFLY MEANS!?. SERIOUSLY!!!!!.

  • weird spot and all, but the damage wasnt that bad it looked like.

  • @wmosco It really isnt his fault most of these trailers are 13'6 I used to drive a truck til I chose to become a diesel mechanic like I went to college for so I could be with my family every night. The problem is the cities that maintain i the roads and bridges when they repave they choose to use a thicker surface but they dont grind down all of the previous roadway so when they are finished the road is about 3 to 5 inchs taller then it was before so the bridge was more like 13'2
