I miss being active, in my new dept (which is in the same county as my previous dept) I am a house watch person. Since the station is right next door. I ride in my power chair over and keep an eye on things/answer phones. Sucks not being able to walk, can't climb stairs to day room to watch TV while I wait for them to return. It stinks so bad not being able to respond to calls anymore.

Awesome night response video. Brings back good memories when I was a FF as a teenager in HS. I would be picked up in front of my house by the engine or rescue on the way through or one of the guys would grab me on the way to get a truck. Now Im in a different dept, same county. I miss the old days. Good work. -Your brother firefighter Jeremy

Hi Brothers,
Great video, beautiful night shot. Brings back memories from when I used to be a firefighter for the small town I grew up in while in high school. I surely miss the old days. Keep up the awesome work, look forward to more shots-Your brother firefighter Jeremy
I believe Mars has corrected the problem, with a more level base.. The older 888 bases were directed downward for some reason? A little downward angle makes a huge difference 2 or 3 blocks down the road. I changed the base on my mars 888 and it's much more effective at distance. I used a Federal signal cp100 chrome siren base. Good luck!

I'm curious about the red and blue lights at around 00:34- what were they?
You can't miss that 888!

those were federal signal (what they call) traffic clearing lights, its on there website under perimeter lights. not sure on exactly what the name for it is.

That Mars 888 light is aimed too low to be really effective... Otherwise a great ride!!

it's pretty much aimed level. Maybe it just has a low downward movement setting.
