Heavy airport activity at Chico Municipal Airport (KCIC) on June 13, 2008 as various a/c stage out of Chico to fight the Humboldt Fire about 15 miles away. The heaviily loaded DC-7 departs for the fire and then the C-130 makes a test fire drop. Ironically the C-130 was being tested with a new roll-on tanker rig (this is Aero Unions' base) and was being system tested on part of the airport awash in the smoke of the nearby fire.
