Mini-Me A6/Z6 with Y8 Manifold

1990 CRX Si. Stock rebuilt D16A6 block, stock rebuilt D16Z6 head and a D16Y8 intake manifold. I WANT A HEADER!!!

10:1 CR, OBD1 conversion. Chipped P28 ECU. After I get a header I'm tuning.!!!

did that y8 bolt str8 up? no modification needed or diff gasket?

nothing major, just get some longer hoses in a couple of places and thats about it.

Either IACV will work I believe. I just used the stock Y8 one.

It wasn't too bad. The hardest part was the wiring but I'm an ace at that anyway. :)

Order a cheap ebay header for $40. Best bang for the buck.

I wanna do the same swap on my 90 hatch with a6 block... Wat all do i need i already have fully built head. Full intake with sensors. What else will i need

yu need to get a breather for your head to releave the presure and cap it off at the intake...and get headers with full piping...yu'll rip the streets after that

@halo2xboxmodder what build do you have? for my build which was a d15b7/y8 mini-me i used a d15b7 cam gear which is also the same as the a6 cam gear. set the cam and crank at #1 tdc, ignition timing to 16 degrees btdc. remember you have to run a jumper to set your base timing. my mini me was putting down124whp so it was tuned well and averaged 36mpg... what ecu are you running? I went with an over kill with hondata s300. I sold it with a p28 and turned the timing down to 14 degree btdc..

@carguy6699 haha, i had the longest gears in the world for a few years. first went to 50mph, 2nd went to 80, 3rd went 130+ i never topped out 3rd gear.

just wanted to let you know.... i saw the title for this and got excited. damn do i love single cams. got a d15b2 in my eg. planning on swapping in a y8 very soon.
