  • im a young guy(24) but by the time im 26 i will be fully bald how much would it cost to get FULL transplant or can u give me sum estimates

  • @bluedragon6287 First off, waiting until you are 'fully bald' to take action makes no sense. The medical management of hair loss includes treatments that can slow down or even reverse the hair loss process. The cost of a hair transplant procedure depends on the size of the session (numbers of grafts) and the type of harvesting (no scalpel/no stitch NeoGraft FUE or Linear "Strip" harvesting). The total numbers of procedures you need varies on the size of the area of hair loss and your goals.

  • Benson and Bauman for the WIN. Just got major compliments on my hair by the barber in "prank haircut" video.

  • @nalts Only your hairstylist knows the truth! ...oh yeah, and anyone with internet access, LOL.

  • For the extractions, do you use hairs only from the patient or can you get donor hairs like say from a family member? Does this work well for women?

  • @shaolinwolfjam During hair transplantation, you can only use 'donor' follicles from yourself. Follicles transplanted from another person would not survive. The NeoGraft FUE procedure is a less invasive option which also works very well for women. Many women like the idea of not having a scalpel or stitches used. The harvested grafts are small enough to be placed between the existing hairs in the thinning area.

  • That was pretty damned interesting.

  • Thanks for posting these. This was possibly the most enlightening review I've ever heard on hair transplants.

  • In the future, they won't have to dig into someone's head like a barbarian. The issue is repairing/reversing the gene itself.

  • @coolboy71293 The cost of a hair transplant depends on the numbers of grafts we transplant and the type of harvesting performed (FUE/NeoGraft or FUT/Linear).

  • @Coolrukawa LOL I'm certainly NOT in that good of shape! However, I will FIGHT to save your follicles! --Dr. B.
