Final Cut Pro X is a good way for apple fans (nothing wrong with being an apple fan btw) to trick themselves into thinking that they've found the MacBook Air of video editors.
Elegance over functionality. You will NOT use a MacBook Air to run a business, but you will use it to show off to your friends.

I'm giving Apple the rest of 2012. If they don't fix this somehow, I'm switching to Adobe.
