This is the 1st time ive played this game for over 20 years, brings back many memories.
This is one of the all-time classics on the 8-bit machines; if you've never played this game, you don't know what you're missing! You basically have to collect all the eggs on each level within the generous time limit, and also avoid the birds. The idea is rather simple, and the graphics may not be state-of-the-art, but remember the saying, "graphics do not make a game"? This is certainly true for this game; it's amazingly addictive and fun to play.
If i remember rightly the big bird comes out of the cage and attacks you in later levels.
@endofthelinejoel The Dragon one has the best physics I reckon, as well as more detail on the bloke. Doesn't quite make up for the putrid green background though!

This Amstrad version has identical physics and gameplay to the BBC Micro edition.
They are the best two versions, because the physics in most of the other 8-bit ports are nowhere as good!

I only have fond memories from this game as a child.
I loved the sound of picking up eggs and seed, it sounded like slapping someone's face! :-)
A true classic.

I still like Chuckie Egg. Prefer this to the amiga version. Always have trouble with them moving platforms tho.
