Considering they finished their show about two days before SHSU, they DEFINATLY deserved second. You would never know they just finished unless someone told you.
schools are NEVER that clean right after finishing their shows. It just shows how amazing this program is. Nothing this group does can be describe as "terrible".

absolutely beautiful show and wonderful band. Langham Creek is a dynasty. I can't wait to see them at Area next year.

Amazing! We played Enigma variations last year for concert season and it makes a really cool marching show! Great performance!

@langleywil Definitely not...our band has always used orchestral music in our show and it definitely payed off.....definitely not over the top.

oh i was in the audience watching this..it was unbelievable...every year i would wait for the day our highschool had a game against Langham Creek just so i could watch their show at half time...and on competitions we would just sit there and wait for them...oh how i miss the good old days...haha

im not a big fan of the music (not a very good tuba part either) but it was a cool show nonetheless. i much rather prefer when we played Scheherazade the year before (much more beefy!!)

Ok. I didn't care for the music selection. Having such an elaborate classical peice at a marching band contest is a little over the top...however, having said that, I can't believe that they didn't place higher than 6th. Marching is spot on, guard is great, sound is outstanding and just the general effect is..well, WOW!!! Great job!

You can find the winning band by searching "state finals 110706" Marcus High School had a very creative show.
