I think, in the end, it's all about the software you want to use, and how you want your workflow designed. You can say mac's good and pc sucks. You can say pc's good and mac sucks, but it's all about the user of that system and his/her preference.
Without the user the front of the computer, both would suck.

Real professionals do NOT build their own systems. So please, everyone, stop saying that's the solution to everything because it isn't. It doesn't matter if they're Macs or PC's, professionals buy them ready made so they can start using the thing within moments of getting it out of the box. They also come with support packages and are designed for the kind of tasks you buy them for. Custom builds are a niche market, a very lucrative one, but niche all the same.
