@NThusiast Nope. Scomi has the plant in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia with 1KM test track. I myself witnessed it. In fact, Scomi was praised by the World Monorail Society for its integrated monorail technology. If you don't believe me, go to Rawang. And please Google also the Mumbai Monorail and Sao Paulo Brazil Monorail. Scomi is the rolling stock providers for both projects. The latest Scomi monorail is called 'Sutra' and it is a driverless system.

KL Monorail IS NOT built by Hitachi. It is built by MALAYSIA COMPANY, Scomi. Scomi is ONE of the ONLY 3 (THREE) integrated monorail manufacturers in THE WORLD. The other 2 (TWO) are Bombardier from Canada and Hitachi from Japan.
