I like this set up!! I'm building one for the back of my go cart! Its perfect!! Allows up and down travel like a normal solid axle kart but with a 1inch Heim joint on the front it will also allow for articulation!! Now a bump on one back tire won't throw the kart sideways!!

Do you feel a difference in driving with this modification?
-
Yeah, I had one of these......fantastic peice.

fucking nice man

Actually, Jim Fay is the producer of the Fay's 2. Yeah, they are spendy. The one for my Firebird cost me $650+shipping, but it's a very different car (much better) now that it's got one. Strano has nothing to do with Fay, AFAIK.

yeah my 84 rx7 has the watts link. my mazda rx2 has a better rear end suspension set up tho i think.

Sam Strano makes something really close to that called a "Fays2Watts Linkage". Looking at getting one for my car.

@dbzgt545, I think it would; conceptually. I do agree that you would likely want bigger heims and fatter rods.

The guy who designed the watts-link (who has mad skills) stopped making and manufacturing the part, so they really aren't available anymore. This was something like 2+ years back when he stopped.
