  • "The package also comes with a and a Yshaped extension cable which is useful for stealing extra USB power from a second port and convenient if your USB port is in a bad location."

  • hey ken dick head you dont need to plug in both usb , 1 is for your micro card , 1 is for the modem dummy , plug in the main one - i have the same thing and i only use 1 - nd thats not a mirrored finish its the plastic cover take it off throw it in the garbage fool

  • VERIZON IS THE BIGGEST CROOKS IN THE WORLD *WARNING* THE USB MODEMS SOLD BY VERIZON CLAIMING TO BE UNLIMITED FOR $49.99 TO $59.99 IS A FULL BLOWN LIE THEY CHARGE YOU 25 CENTS FOR EVERY 2MB USED OVER YOUR 5GB MAXIMUM USAGE - THAT MEANS YOU CAN ONLY USE 5GB AT $62.50 PER MONTH AND IF YOU GO OVER YOULL RECEIVE A $1,000 PHONE BILL FOR DATA USAGE JUST LIKE I DID -- THIS IS NOT UNLIMITED - WHAT LIARS STAY AWAY FROM VERIZONS MODEMS TRY EBAY HENG3HENG wifi antenna from canada

  • The UM150 is also offered by Alltel company. I would recommend them over Verizon especially because of unlimited data.

Also side note Verizon doesn't make this card both the Verizon/Alltel versions are made by UTStarcom with simply different logos but same exact card.

  • I detest Verizon's wireless USB modems with a passion. We've had 2 different kinds, and they are worse than dial-up and very inconsistent, not to mention expensive.

  • um... it's and extension... one of the usb is for a lower signal transfer... just use one of the usb plugs and place it into your macbook... that's what i use!!!

i hope this helps clear things up for you... you are NOT supposed to plug both usb components into the computer... just one...

    GOD bless

    -kc :o)

  • Sounds like you just need to get a Cheap USB Hub. lol Or just plug it in without if your not in a bad area
