It is sooooooooooooo damn loud when you're a cellist sitting second stand and you have 15 trumpets playing full breath with an organ playing balls out.

The neglect of this work from the concert hall is just an outrage! I've heard the 2nd in concert years ago at Carnegie Hall with the Armenian Philharmonic, but I'm still waiting to hear the 3rd live.
