I thought jkd was good, But I have really doubted it apart from the punching side, The kicks in jkd are powder puff, compared to thai kicks, plus there is a vertical fist straight punch in muay thai as there is the jab. lethal art. I really feel that this art has more to offer. much more power to protect my self.

@ncgfbl - One of the biggest things Muaythai does is teach a person to relax and to deal with their fears so they can do movements to defend themselves. Relaxing is where the power is and most Martial Arts are too tense to do the relaxing power moves. ;-)
