Went perch fishing at the Racine harbor at 7pm and came across these things hanging out in the rocks. Ive never in the last 20+ years of being down at the lakefront seen these. I emailed Jay Christie at the Racine Zoo and he confirmed they were Minks.

  • I believe they are Weasels. Wisconsin has three different types of weasels. I have seen these along Lake Michigan. They live under the rocks and hunt small rodents. (Take some chicken wings to the lake, put them near the weasels location and watch the fun.)

  • I'm told that there is a mink farm just outside of Racine. Those little guys are survivors!

  • its a mink

  • looks like a mink to me
