PLEASE READ:

This is just for Foreplay. It's a glitch where you'd activate OD on a fill that happens to end with an actual OD phrase. In doing so, it activates and gives you that extra OD phrase. It also gives you +1/2 of an OD bar instead of +1/4 bar. Another thing to note is that 'Quiet Part 2' consumes your OD bar slightly slower than normal. As soon as it gets to the fast part, it starts consuming at a slightly faster rate.

Here's a link of the drum chart, highlighting pretty much the OD path used in this particular video: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii38/constble/Drum%20Overdrive%20Paths/OD_...

  • hey sometimes I see white notes after a freestyle section and after ending the freestyle (successfully) the notes go back to their normal colour... what is that?

  • That's a different glitch, which doesn't really work in our favor :(. To prevent the white notes from disappearing, you'd have to either activate as late as possible, or activate nearly on time, and squeeze the notes so that the OD phrase doesn't disappear. I can't really explain that glitch very well.

  • Hey Constble, I did a squeeze in Highway Star a while back and got extra 1/4 OD, could that be a glitch, too? I also play on PS3, if that has anything to do w/ it.

  • Hmmm.. I don't think there is one in HS. It only occurs in a drumfill that covers up the very last note of an OD phrase. Do you remember where it occured?

  • Damn Constble. I just barely got the GS on this song and here you are FC'ing Foreplay lol. Not only that but you purposely missed the first OD to test out a glitch? How did you happen upon this? I can't imagine you accidentally missing that first OD. I'd say this is legit to but it wouldn't be an FC. Could you still hit the first OD and still do the glitch? or would that bring up too many activation fills to make it worth it?

  • Oh no, I was just studying the chart and rememebered the Interstate Love Song glitch. If you hit the first OD, there'd be too many fills to skip to get to that part. You can sort of see it in the drum chart that I posted in the description!

  • Notice how at 0:46 the cymbal moves when it isn't hit... That was just creepy

  • I have no fucking idea wtf your talking about in any of this....

I'll just stick to playing the songs normally.

  • does this work for ps2? i'm assuming you prob dont know but it would seem likely

  • OD consumption speeds up due to hitting three stars, but that doesn't change the glitch.
