my infrared remote jammer i created in my electronics class. there is no trickery and this is probably not the only type you can make out there. I might put up the scamatic diagram that we used to figure out what to put where and where to put pads and traces(which i wont include) or a link to it later on. basically all infrared remotes send out a blinking signal that blinks faster than the human eye can see but we don't see it anyways because we can't see infrared(though cameras can like the one i used for this). basically your remote may do something like(each dash=a blink and space=time apart from blinks)--- --- the infrared remote jammer blinks constantly to fill in the blank space there so that the tv doesnt notice its supposed to do anything. Making one of these requires the ability to either breadboard and/or matterials to make a custom board to solder onto and ability to read scamatic diagrams since thats all i will give you that i have other than the sheets that showed the distance between things on a graph or on the program we used to transport to our schools laser engraver.

  • motion detector doesnt works to?

  • @l0llakas Actually it does, since the bar for the wii is actually just a couple infrared LEDs on each side the jammer does nothing. But it could work as another point for the camera in the wiimote to see making your cursor more centered on screen(if you didn't have the option that says if the bar is below or above the tv).

  • nice one matey i liked ur description

  • thanks...sorry I have yet to put the schematic diagram up, but I forgot where I put it. Also I'm out of high school and I would need to find the things from high school to hopefully find it.

  • What about Infrared Microphones? Works the same way i assume?

  • @BLUEANGEL7777777777 or you can just buy a holographic plate cover from me, and save the court fees/fines/jail time for tampering with police property! ;-)

  • @t3hsniper I definitely made it in an electronics class to, flippin awesome may I add.

  • lol - just a hint people, with that same concept and a couple more ir leds, mounted on the back bumper aside your license plate.

The street light cameras- that can scam you out of a hundred bucks without a court case... IR light will block the camera from reading your plate numbers...

  • Nice wii
