That noise is the brakes fully applying to bring the train to a stop. More specifically it is the brake shoes vibrating as they grip the wheels to slow the train.

That's either the wheels slowing down or the train rolling over some glitch on the rails.

Rs2m is on the m7, m4, m2, and m6. S2m is on the bomb push pull cabs. I am not sure what the m1 and m3 have.

It must be an RS2M, because of the different caps on the backs of the horn.
