  • in regards to everyone elses comments about USX being a shitty company and are worthless...unless you have worked there, do not open your mouth. dont go listening to all the old greasy drivers sitting at the T/A, Petro and Flying J restaraunts complaining about big companies and that trucking is not "how it used to be" get over it. ive been with USX for 2 years and cant say anything bad about them. they have there problems like every company but atleast were getting freight to move unlike some

  • usxpress sucks its got the highest turn over in the industry the dispatchers are all idiots usxpress would be a great company if they would fire everyone hire people with trucking exsperience (not college girls) and not try to turn the truck into a 18 wheel mobile office trucking is hard enough as it is it can do without all the papper work and constant nagging on the qualcomm system and cell phone to the driver

  • My wife and I worked for USX from '06 to '10 and sadly watched as it went from very good to completely frustrating. The load planners all lost their minds. The day we decided to quit we got EIGHT pre-plans. Very frustrating. Along with idiot fleet managers, losing the Volvos, getting local runs that pay nothing, and "yard dog" duty every time we hit a metro hub, we just couldn't take it anymore. When the economy improves they'll lose a lot of people.

  • @cdubois13 its half/half now. I think they're going standard now though

  • @anj46907 yeah the recruiters need to stay out of the class rooms and quit lying about your starting pay, they claim no tuition reimbursements because they pay 45 cents a mile, and when your done with training they tell you 31 cents a mile, total bullshit!!!

  • @sky5564 10-4 on the qualcomm bullshit, and they xpect you to reply while driving, and their dispatch sux even more, shitty ass company!!

  • @billwilson2002 I was under contract with USX for one year if i go back to Trucking it will be USX again they have a Win Win System which is good for me...Well i followed all orders i guess thats why they gave me what i want, like i said Win Win..Good Company!.

  • yes, USX company trucks ahve been all automatic for about 10 years now. I've ben with them 13 and like it here. For a truckload carrier, anyway.
