well, I just don't know what I like more: your video, the no-frills approach to what really matters, your kit, your snare, your cymbals (!!!!!!!) or your touch! man, that's how you play the drums! riding a bike. fantastic!!!!!!!

hey love your videos. I love your warm and boomy Gretsch kick. I have a 20 inch Gretsch bass drum as well. What head combo do you use/ have on that round badge kit? Any felt strips or anything? Thanks!

I just love this recording technique and your way of playing ! !

Great Ideas dude!

hmm very like, classic but with modern touch. same with the sound. a good and smart drummer in his own way.

spent a good half an hour micing an entire drum kit over the weekend, only to turn every mic down pretty low in the end, except the overheads and kick.

Nice sound but I find the snare a bit too loud. Too much attack for my taste. Everything else sounds decent but the rimshots tear my ears apart when using my earphones (nice Sennheiser phones, btw, no cheapo). But this is just my personal feeling and opinion, don't take me to hard ... :) I love your videos!

Great video, and even better drumming. I really like your approach of using minimal mics to capture a more natural sound. It sounds great, especially with your style of play.
