It's close to impossible to lose this battle.
Only danger is that he attacks Tifa twice and that both attacks connect (she has Mystile so that's unlikely).

I have to use the Elixir at the end to make sure Cloud has enough MP for Safer.

Equipment:

Cloud: Circlet (+30 magic), Wizard Bracelet (+20 magic), Ragnarok (+43 magic), 3 star Magic Plus, 2 star MP Turbo linked to Ultima +materia that boosts magic (like Neo Bahamut).

Tifa: Curse Ring (+35 Str and Death Sentence), Powersoul (twice the damage when HP are critical, 4 times when under Death Sentence, combined 8 times damage) and Mystile along with Deathblow linked to Added Cut.

Levels are 43-44.

this works differently from the ps1 version. on that u cant attack the core, it always does 0

This is the ps1 version... (emulated but still >_>).

To get to damage the Core you have to kill the Head and the 2 Arms, which is why I open up with Ultima. Once the Core is dead, he won't use that annoying Bizarro Enegy (yes, yes, typo in the game...) that heals him for 6,5k.

Pretty redic how easy this was, I wish it had been more challenging. Even on a speed run at the lowest possible level, there's a way to Ace it without going through 1 loop of the music. I beat this last night with knights of the round, and 2x cut, and that's it.
