About me:

I'm Raphael. I compose, write, arrange and produce all my songs and videos myself.

I've been creating music for some years now.
My love for music started at the age of eight when I began to have percussion lessons. I competed at the Swiss Percussion Championship in Altishofen on three occasions, winning a gold medal in 2005 with the instrument called a "Timpani" or more commonly known as Kettle Drums. I couldn't have achieved this proud moment without the support of my great percussion teacher Mike Quinn.

At the age of ten, I started playing the piano. With lots of practice and a lot of help from my brother, who also plays piano, I have developed my own unique playing style.
In 2006, I got my first electric guitar and, as Bryan Adams once said, played it till my fingers bled! I have now added the Bass guitar to the list of instruments I play.

I wanted to push my music further so I now study at the Swiss Academy of Rock, Pop and Jazz in Winterthur, called WIAM.
I also work in a part time job to help fund the equipment I need to record my music.

So what does "SEISEND.SIX" mean?
Well, when I was about seven or eight, my friends and I would give each other nicknames. I wanted something that was unique and something that nobody had used before so I came up with "seisend". I can't remember how I came up with it but I love it and it's very special to me. To make it a proper stage name wasn't that difficult. I added "six" to it because I AM A ONE MAN BAND with six "members" and six is also my favorite number.

This is seisend six :

Singer + Pianist + Guitarist + Keyboard/Synth + Bassist + Drummer = SIX MAN BAND.

2007 saw a big change in the way my music developed. I began to merge my musical interests with my other passion, computers and all things technical. This allowed me to record my ideas and create my own tracks.
Every spare penny I have is invested into my home studio. This is where I experiment with new programs, putting together instrumentals and adding the lyrics to suit.
My style is eclectic. I'm influenced by all kinds of music from all directions. Rock, Pop, Electronic and Alternative. To be creative you need to have an open mind. But I want my music to sound like seisend.six.

Hello Raffi'. Are you on the scooter in this video? It looks like the scooter is flying past everyone else on the road. Scarry for the passenger, especially considering they were holding on the camera with one hand and holding on with only the other hand.
