Evolution for Dummies

Hirsty [the ranter] tries his hand at explaining evolution to the masses. Enter the hardcore religious person [uninterested girl on the right], and the people's representative [amiable yet confused cameraman]...

I accredited myself as "animation", this is because originally I was going to rotoscope (sketch over) every frame to achieve an effect similar to this one, though once I realised this was 2,616 frames (my hand started to hurt after 18 lol) I decided to just batch process them in an image editing program. This visual effect is gratuitous, purely for stylistic purposes, looks cool though.

Opinions/beliefs on evolution, religion, animation, etc. are welcome comments.

Giraffes is where you are wrong my friend please read up on it! The theory you have is that their necks grew larger by time and mutation. Jean-Baptiste Lamarck came up with it and was wrong. Darwins theory was better two different off spring one stayed the other died. Look it Up! Do apologize I love to talk creation!

You're a bit mixed up, Lamarckian theory differs from Darwin's by the concept that organisms adapted to certain conditions during their lifetime and passed the 'better genes' on to their offspring, but in actuality it's about how the normal distribution became more weighted to certain gene types because they were more effective for the parents, which consequently were more likely to survive and propagate. The random 'mutation' factor of the DNA does have to exist for this to happen.
