Mocking the words and Book of Allaah, or trying to undermine their sanctity and respect, is blatant kufr -- no one would dispute that. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

"If you ask them (about this), they declare: 'We were only talking idly and joking.' Say: 'Was it at Allaah, and His Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and His Messenger that you were mocking?'

Make no excuse; you disbelieved after you had believed..."

[al-Tawbah 9:65-66]

  • fianlly a response worthy of its name. Mashallah Shaykh!!!!

  • Muslims need to come to an understanding that the words said by Muhammad Abdul Jabbar is not a random approach of his personal opinion. It is the statement and view of our religion, Islam. This is the view of the Quran and Hadith. Anyone who Questions these words, are Questioning Islam. Some comments have stated that its only comedy, his only joking, nothing wrong with that?. Allah swt clearly states, no comedy or humour should be made out of the religion (Al-Tawbah 9:65)

  • @TheSalafiBrother thank you for clarifying! i appreciate it. mashallah!

  • @dxvxvx you need to watch and listen to the full lecture "THE SEAL OF ALL THE PROPHETS MUHAMMAD PBUH - Muhammad Abdul Jabbar" which he forbids greater evils such as bros/sis going to nightclubs. And the brother has also set up his own dawah organisation which guides people to islam so he is doing his good amaal. So there u go we ignore you

  • @SaeedMartinezRivera akhi i think that the role of sheikhs is to look at the state of the ummah and advise people about it, i know the sheikh should of probably spoke to diary of a badman in person but that don't mean that DOBM is right.

And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?"

go to suran 9 verse 65 and 66

  • I'm sure the Shaykh gave this lecture out of love for Allah and I respect that. But I think we ALL need to humble ourselves and realize that ONLY Allah knows the state of our hearts, and He alone decides who goes to Heaven/Hell. Sure you can say "the Quran/Hadith say such act will have a person thrown in Hell", but in reality NO ONE perfectly exemplifies the teachings of the Quran/Sunnah. Ultimately, Allah can throw ANY OF US into the hellfire b/c of our many faults, so may He forgive us ALL!

  • @2011mrundercover what is the point of humza engaging with young muslims through hes pathetic comedy, most of the young muslims in my area cant stand diary of a badman because they realised this guy is nothing but negative, humza is misguided, he is trying to brainwash muslims, how dare he attack the niqab, the young muslims in my area even though they are not practising the deen but still defend the deen know have realised that he is violating and insulting the niqab, this why they are angry.

  • I know humza done really really bad things but you dont know if he will get thrown in the fire of hell

  • i agree with this brother and those people that are saying not to judge he is doing all of us a favour by not going astray and keeping us away from things like diary of a badman and it is up on youtube so humza can see this whenever he wants .

  • i agree with his message but not in the way it was delivered. He may not have meant it but there seems to be a lot of hate for a muslim brother which there should't be regardless of what he may or may not have done. I don't think there was any need to say that he may have said a word because of which Allah will overlook his good deeds and throw him in the fire of hell. That can be ANYBODY! Including myself or the shaykh himself! Good message, questionable delivery. May Allah accept your efforts.

  • Instead of preaching and trying to get people's attention, because some other guy has got people's attention that your so desperate for, why don't you do your own good amaal, and do good works and guide people to that. If your argument is that you are forbidding the evil, go and forbid greater evil where our bros/sisters are going to nightclubs, or go stand outside a bank.

You intentions are good, but your methodology is flawed, so we ignore you
