Zalul and Billabong present: Whats That Floating in the Water?

Most of us visit the sea a few times each summer, but we arent always aware of what happens to the sea during the rest of the year.

Israeli actor Ofer Schecter, musician Shlomi Bracha, chef Yaron Kastenbaum, professional surfers Yoni Klein and Ranyana, know very well what happens to the sea when we arent there. Why? Because they have been surfing in the Mediterranean Sea for years, living the Med all year round.

They want us to know what is happening to our sea water when we arent paying attention.

These surfers who participated in our short film share their experiences surfing in the Mediterranean Sea year-round. The film title, Whats That Floating in the Water? is representative of some of those personal stories of the surfers who describe surfing in polluted water and spending time on garbage-filled beaches. This film was created with the help and generosity of Billabong Clothing Company and AdrenalinTV, who support Zaluls goal of a clean sea no matter what the season.
