I just don't see why people get so upset over an arbitrary number system (especially ones that are close to what they think). And yes I know that a positive review doesn't mean it's automatically a good review, but I think I may have been enforcing the wrong idea.

Very good point! Very true, as well! A review being positive doesn't necessarily mean the review was well done. Whether a review is positive or negative, the reviewer needs to give logical and valid reasons in order to make a quality review.
