These fought like lions without the benefit of ever knowing they would get back to their homeland. Bravo to the Vets of those years...their dedication, their sacrifice, and their courage...let us never forget them...espeically on this Sept 1.

@cosmictimes But Jozef Pilsudski has crystal ball in 1933. He proposed France prevention attack on Germany in 1933 when Hitler come to power. France say no. It`s always the same. You don`t want listen Polish argumentation. You think that they are stupid and you are so wise... but on the end there is exactly like Poles say. It`s the only one of many examples of this. @licicaviki Since Germany lost the Great War of 1918, Hitler, who was a messenger in that war, had a bubbling undercurrent of resentment, revenge and blood letting to do so ever since.Unfortunately for the UK it did not have a crystal ball within their midst to allow them to see that 15 years later a megalomaniac with a chip on his shoulder would come to power and spend the next 6 years spending on military technology with the sole purpose on seeking revenge for the fact that he was a bad artist

@cosmictimes There was also another treaty ...among Britain and Poland - "Anglo-Polish military alliance" signed in London on August 25, 1939. You always forget about it. You should entry to WWII soon after 1 september 1939 but you don`t and that`s was a reason that this war was so long. It was chance to end this war in 1939 or on begining 1940. But You again wait and started non effective sitzkrieg strategy.

@licicaviki That's not true. The UK did not go to war after the invasion took place, BUT as soon as the invasion took place. Neville Chamberlain had a peace treaty with Hitler and one of the conditions, the Nazis were not to invade Poland. Hitler knew these conditions but took a chance and carried on with the invasion anyway. Then the UK had no other option but to declare war along with France. But this is 2012 and not 1942 or 1939. History is what it is and it won't be changed on youtube

@cosmictimes This 17 century shit saved Europe from Ottoman domination. England not fight for Poland but for England. In 1939 You not fought but in Battle of Britain fought Poles. After Invasion of Poland you wake up and realized that if You gave free hand to Germany it can be danger for Your business. After Battle of France ... danger for your existence.... but I must say that England was the only country {after Poland;-) who show balls and dignity in this time.

@licicaviki 17th century pledges mean Jack shit. The UK almost lost her entire being and entity because she wanted to fight for your country in 1939! But this is the 21st Century now and as long as you are a companion of Britain, who abides by her rules, then there will be no problem
